During the Holy Week, a series of processions recalls Christ's Passion. The most touching procession takes place on Good Friday when the Holy Cross is carried on the devotees' shoulders followed by the Madonna who is also carried on their shoulders.
Between the third decade of July and the first decade of August, Randazzo becomes the home of a beautiful suggestive medieval feast. The main squares and alleys in the historical centre of Randazzo become an open air theatre where the actors dance, sing and parade in medieval costumes.
Randazzo's summer most important day is August 15th whose feast is entirely consecrated to the assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven.
The spectacular ''Vara dell'Assunta'' (The Virgin's coach), more than 65 feet tall, is shown along the main street in the historical centre. The chidren sitting in it sing the praises of the Virgin's assumption.
